Jarige job part II

While wondering around at the top level of the space needle we I was also trying to locate the MoPoP. Museum of Pop. Scanning the city out of through the glass sides was easy, but still I could not manage to locate it. Weird...... SInce sitting at the 5 point cafe google maps showed as being close. So lets do another round of the space needle. Suus had found a nice seat overlooking the harbour and just far enough from the edge to have a nice rest, and still see the full view. I said to Suus I would do another round. But did not say I was looking for MoPoP. I finished the round still unable to spot it. Comming back at Suus she asked me why I was doing another round. I told her and she started giggling... yep I thought so she said. Pointing straight down, and with a smuck smile said. There you go!!! I had been looking too far out. it was just right beneath our feed.

We took the elevator after we were back on ground level we browsed the souvenir shop and of course did as all tourist do, we bought a lot of stuff we do not need. Again. The sun was still there with us and we are lucky with the sun in our travels over tjhe last 4 weeks. No it hase not been the perfect weather all the way from Chicago to Seattle. We have had blizzards, thunderstorms en heavy rain along the way. But somehow when we were going sightseeying we would always have the sun their. Only exeption has been the first day of Yellowstone, but even that was still a beautiful day. We left the giftshop and walked the whole 50 yards to the entrance of the MoPoP. Halfway down was a hotdog stand. I did not have one yet since we had been on US soil. And since it is my birthday I treated Suus and myself to one. Again the choices, with unions, without pickels, with sauerkraut, hold the peppers, do some mustard. In the and we both took a Chicago Hotdog in Seattle. Even these were humongus. Suus did not finish hers, I did. And well...why waste any, so I ate the other half of Suus as well.....sorry.

We enjoiyed the sun a bit longer warming up our bodies before we were heading for the entrance of MoPoP. I had seen the pictures of MoPoP since I had picked up my first gitar and learned about grunch music and it origin. Off course you will learn about the museum of pop. And I had always want to go there. So even before the start of our journey I had been looking forward to it, and I have not been dissapointed. It will be way to much to explaion it all. But let's say this. Suus told me to get a plan of what I wanted to see. And this was after we had seen a bit off al 3 floors, with no logic what so ever. Just me running around saying "This I need to see" and "ohhh, Nirvana exabition". just like a headless chicken wanting to see it all.

We sat down and had a look at the map, figured out what we still would like to see, and what we already had seen. I really really had a fun time, see the pics section for more pictures. When we came out of the MoPoP we went ont the touristic ride with the monorail through the Seatle city. A whole whopping 2 minute ride. But being here you have to do it!

The day had come to an end and it will most definately be the most memorable birthday ever!!!!
